SUMMARY:
We are hiring again!! One of our clients who is a leader in the manufacturing space seeks to employ an experienced Maintenance Manager. The main key responsibility will be to plan, administrate and co-ordinate all maintenance systems in advance in order to maximize the use of resources and minimize equipment downtime. POSITION INFO:

The Ideal Candidate

Must have minimum 5 years’ experience working in a Factory/Production environment
Strong maintenance planning experience is essential - preferably in extrusion
Must have good understanding of industrial mechanical and electrical field
Must have excellent computer skills – MS Office
Must demonstrate effective leadership attributes and initiative

Duties Include:

Maintain a planning database per machine and provides comprehensive report and
Preventative Maintenance Plan.
Keep the Production Manager and Production Planner informed on all planned maintenance service and backlogs.
Keep the plan aligned with the production plan to minimize downtime.
Assist with the preparation and control of the section’s annual budget by forecasting costs and monitoring expenditure on a day-to-day basis.
Complete Job Cards for each task or jobs to be done and capture accordingly.
Plan maintenance/infrastructure activities for allocation of tasks, hours, skills, resources and special services etc.
Order and validate material, services, spares and drawings etc.
Identified resources required for all work requests
Ensure that housekeeping, safety standards and labour regulations are adhered to
Compile reports maintenance reports

Qualifications

Must have matric – non neg!

Diploma/degree in Production/Operations Management – or similar is advantageous
