SUMMARY:
Mine in Botswana has an opportunity for a Maintenance Manager to lead and coordinate maintenance across copper processing plants, crushing/milling circuits, and dewatering infrastructure to ensure long-term asset reliability, equipment availability, and strict statutory safety compliance.
Maximize uptime for heavy mining machinery, trucks, crushers, conveyors, and processing plant equipment.
Directs all mobile and fixed plant maintenance activities to maximize asset reliability, control costs, and enforce safety compliance.
Develop and manage annual maintenance budgets, monitor spare parts inventory, and optimize labor and contractor expenditures.
Ensure all work adheres to Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) standards, conducting risk assessments and managing regulatory audits.

POSITION INFO:
Bachelor's Degree or National Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering essential. 5 to 10 years of overall maintenance experience, in a managerial or supervisory role within the mining industry. Hands-on exposure to copper mining environments, will be advantageous. Mobile fleets, surface and underground operations management experience essential. Proficiency in CMMS software will be advantageous Reliability-centered maintenance (RCM), and budget administration essential.
