JOB SUMMARY:
A Maintenance Manager with heavy engineering and hands-on managerial experience is being sought for a vacancy at a specialist industrial manufacturer in the Western Cape.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

A professional mechanical engineer or qualified artisan with a national diploma or Red Seal trade test certificate and ± 5 years’ experience in maintenance management in a heavy engineering environment will be ideally suited to this position.

Knowledge of PLCs, hydraulics and pneumatics, preventative maintenance, and the ability to intelligently and proactively troubleshoot electrical and mechanical failures is essential.

Potential candidates should have prior experience managing contractors, departmental budgets and small technical teams.
