JOB SUMMARY:
A specialist industrial manufacturing concern in the Western Cape has a vacancy for a Maintenance Manager with heavy engineering and hands-on managerial experience.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

A qualified artisan with a Red Seal trade test or a mechanical engineering professional with a minimum national diploma and ± 5 years’ experience in maintenance management in a heavy engineering environment will be ideally suited to this position.

Knowledge of PLCs, hydraulics and pneumatics, preventative maintenance, and the ability to intelligently and proactively troubleshoot electrical and mechanical failures is essential.

Potential candidates should have prior experience managing contractors, departmental budgets and small technical teams.
