Purpose of the Role

Management of daily banking and reconciliation, monthly sales

reporting, cash flow forecasts, revenue assurance, assisting with the preparation of management accounts and other ad hoc duties within the Finance team.

Key Areas of Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts that align with the company's objectives.

· Conduct detailed financial analysis, cost assessments, and variance analysis to identify opportunities for operational improvement and enhanced profitability.

· Prepare and analyse financial reports, providing timely and accurate insights to guide senior management in making informed decisions.

· Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, long-term financial plans, and financial projections.

· Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.

· Monitor and maintain compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and relevant laws.

· Provide support in internal and external audits, ensuring documentation and explanations are readily available.

· Utilise financial software and tools to streamline processes, enhance accuracy, and optimise efficiency.

Knowledge and Competencies

· Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting techniques.

Qualification

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CIMA qualification is advantageous.

· Proven experience as a Management Accountant or in a similar financial role.
