SUMMARY:
We are seeking a commercially minded Management Accountant with strong exposure to manufacturing environments and hands-on costing practices. This role is embedded within operations and is focused on translating factory-floor cost data into actionable insights that drive margin improvement and cost optimisation.

POSITION INFO:
This role is embedded within operations of an organization within the Investments Sector and is focused on translating cost data into actionable insights that drive margin improvement and cost optimisation.

Key Responsibilities:

Product and job costing within a manufacturing environment
Managing the full financial reporting process
Analysis of standard versus actual costs, including detailed variance analysis
BOM review and maintenance in collaboration with operations
Overhead absorption and allocation methodologies
Inventory and WIP costing and reconciliation
Margin analysis at product, job, and customer level
Budgeting and forecasting experience in production-led businesses.
Providing cost insights to support pricing, efficiency, and optimisation initiatives

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing cost accounting
BCom Accounting degree is essential
Proficient in ERP systems (Sage, SAP, Oracle)
Practical experience with standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory/WIP costing
Ability to partner effectively with operations and production teams
