SUMMARY:
My client is seeking a hands-on Management Accountant with strong manufacturing experience to join their team in Port Elizabeth

POSITION INFO:
This is an office-based role in a highly product-driven manufacturing environment, requiring a deep understanding of plant operations and the business as a whole.
Key Responsibilities

Full management accounting function for the manufacturing operation
Costing across all areas, including but not limited to:

Product costing
Standard costing
Variance analysis
Cost control and cost optimisation

Provide commercial and financial support to the plant, with a solid understanding of:

Maintenance
Production planning
Procurement
Human Resources

Partner with operational and departmental managers to support decision-making
Analyse financial and operational data to drive efficiency and profitability
Prepare management reports, budgets, forecasts, and performance analysis
Develop a strong understanding of the plant processes, workflows, and products

Requirements

BCom degree (Accounting / Finance or similar)
Studying towards CIMA (advantageous)
Proven experience in a manufacturing environment (essential)
Strong commercial acumen and business understanding
Comfortable working closely with plant and operational teams
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Proactive, hands-on, and able to work across functions
Confident engaging with both finance and non-finance stakeholders
