SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking a driven and analytical Management Accountant to join their team in Cape Town. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional with strong analytical capabilities and a passion for continuous improvement. The successful candidate will hold a BCom / BTech in Cost & Management Accounting, have advanced proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel and Syspro (or a similar ERP system), and possess strong communication, problem-solving and leadership skills. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, adaptable, able to work well under pressure and committed to delivering accurate results while meeting deadlines.

A recent professional profile photo is to accompany your application EMPLOYMENT TYPE : Permanent SECTOR : Finance BASIC SALARY : R34 000.00 - R38 000.00 START DATE : A.S.A.P REQUIREMENTS: BCom \/ BTech in Cost & Management Accounting Highly numerate with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Advanced computer literacy in MS Word, MS Excel, and Syspro (or similar ERP system) Confident communication skills Strong commercial acumen Driven to continuously improve processes and embrace new challenges Ability to work effectively under pressure Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy Ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities effectively Flexible and adaptable approach to work Excellent problem-solving skills Strong leadership skills DUTIES: Prepare monthly journal entries, submit them for approval, and process accordingly. Perform account reconciliations, including: Intercompany loan accounts. Income statement accounts. Balance sheet accounts. Calculate monthly commission payable and confirm amounts with suppliers. Submit intercompany schedules and reports to other group companies. Prepare monthly intercompany invoices. Review and approve local supplier reconciliations for payment submission. Review and approve weekly wage reports for payment submission. Respond to and report on management queries. Calculate monthly rebate, discount, and markdown provisions. Authorize and review foreign payments. Compile management accounts. Assist with internal and external annual audits. Facilitate the completion of interim and final B-BBEE expenditure reports. Maintain the Fixed Asset Register. Manage and monitor internal control processes.
