JOB SUMMARY:
Management Accountant required to join a diverse multinational consumer Brand Business representing well-known global apparel and footwear brands. (Epping, Cape Town).

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

To support the Finance Business Manager to ensure effective functioning of finance activities.
To support the Finance Business Manager with the commercial value adding activities undertaken including preparing and extracting information, performing analysis and providing insights.
To support the Finance Business Manager in analysing management reports and financial performance of brands and channels.
Analyse monthly brand reviews and provide interpretation and commentary.
To support the finance team with projects and the implementation of new systems.
To prepare month end reports, accruals and reconciliations including those related to principles, cash-ups and e-commerce.
Prepare sales, royalty and other reports for Brand Principals.
Manage the calendar and deadlines for all Principal submissions.
Assist with preparation of budgets and forecasts.
Prepare, review and analyse marketing reports & trackers.
Provide retail & e-commerce financial support, as required.
To review and correct cost allocations.
Perform sundry cost centre management activities.
Ensure related standard operating procedures are adhered to and adjusted as required.

Requirements

Essential: BCom (majoring in Finance)
Desirable: Partially or fully CIMA/SAICA qualified
Essential: Intermediate to Advanced level MS Excel
Essential: At least 3 years relevant finance experience
Desirable: 1 year post articles experience
