Money Moves and Number Grooves – We’re Hiring a Management Accountant! My client, a household name in the Insurance industry, trusted by millions across South Africa, is on the hunt for a sharp, strategic and seriously analytical Management Accountant with treasury exposure.

POSITION INFO:
ð Location: Midrand

ð° The Fine Print (AKA What We’re Looking For):

Degree in Accounting or Finance (Hons = bonus points!)
SAICA articles completed
3 to 4 years' experience in a similar role
Treasury experience – You know your cash like you know your coffee
A strong personality: You’re not afraid to ask the hard questions or dive deep into data
Analytical mindset, because numbers don’t lie, but they do hide sometimes!

ð Your Daily Money-Making Moves Will Include:

Budgeting & forecasting
Monthly management reporting that wows the boardroom
Preparing variance analysis that unpacks the "what" and the "why"
Playing a key role in treasury management – think cash flow forecasting, monitoring investments and ensuring that liquidity never dries up
Liaising with internal and external stakeholders like the finance boss you are
Supporting strategic decision-making with insights that go beyond the balance sheet
Working with group consolidations and keeping a keen eye on financial compliance
Helping drive efficiencies, process improvements and penny-smart practices across the team
