A global solution provider in the energy and infrastructure sectors, from conception to decommissioning. Has an opportunity for a Project Management Information system and Quantity Management Manager on one of their In Israel.

POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities:

Ensure the implementation on the projects of the Management/Construction and Mechanical Information Systems, utilized for the management of construction quantities, planning, progress recording, quality assessment and accounting of construction works, including the activities of coordination and implementation of Spooling, Welding and Material Traceability Systems

Duties:

▪ Ensure the set-up, the training and the implementation for the Project of the Management/Construction Information Systems

▪ Ensure the definition of the WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) for the construction works, in line with Company criteria / Project needs

▪ Cooperate with Planning team for the development of detailed construction planning, timing and workload analysis

▪ Assist the Project Control team invoicing activities of active contracts

▪ Ensure, in liaison with construction positions and the Construction Manager, the administration of site passive contracts

▪ Ensure the recording / verification of progress / accounting for the site works carried out by contractors or on a direct hiring

basis, liaising with Discipline Superintendent positions for aspects related to the correct execution of works and preparing

Works Progress Reports

▪ Make available the Company standard data (standard man-hours, efficiencies, etc.) for planning / monitoring construction works

▪ Provide assistance to the project management during the relationship with suppliers, subcontractors and/or Clients

▪ Ensure, as early as the engineering and procurement phase, coordination of the implementation / use of project management information systems for the project (also in case of subcontractors), ensuring, where required, the necessary support for different project functions

▪ Ensure, with the support of engineering disciplines, management of project quantities and bill items in the systems

▪ Provide assistance to the project management in analysing the difference of actual quantities (and cost) respect the budget quantities (and cost) collecting the sources of variations from the project functions (engineering, procurement, etc.)

▪ Support the project management in the technical-administrative settling of claims presented by subcontractors and/or from Client

▪ Ensure the input in the management information system and availability of data (conforming to formats specified in the different applications) received from the engineering, project control and construction departments

▪ Ensure, in liaison with the project control function, that data/reporting falling within own area of responsibility is available to project positions involved

▪ Ensure capitalization of feedback deriving from the use of pertaining information systems in order to identify appropriate corrective actions / areas for improvement

▪ Support the project Quality team in the management of Quality Certificates Information Systems

▪ Ensure the coordination of activities aimed at the implementation of Mechanical Information Systems used in the project for spooling activities, the proper management of welding data and fabricated material traceability during the different Construction phases

▪ Support Construction Manager / Discipline Superintendents for the correct coordination of the Quantity Surveyors / System

Specialists project staff during home office and site activities

▪ Ensure the collection of ad-hoc performance data of subcontractors (i.e. particular ad-hoc productivities) for significant activities, necessary to assess the project status, define recovery plans and capitalization

▪ Support the Construction Manager and management team (i.e. Contract Manager, Risk Manager, Project Manager) for early detection of risks / opportunities related to the performance of subcontractors (delays estimation, backup plan against subcontractor claims, active claims preparation, etc.)

▪ Support the Construction Manager and management team for proper definition of any NP (New Price) and CWO (Change Work Order) may be necessary, ensuring the segregation and capitalization in accordance with the Company standards

▪ Support Construction Manager and management team for Technical Bid Evaluation and price consistency check before subcontract assignment

▪ Assist the Quality Manager for quality assurance/assessment topics

▪ Assist the Warehouse Manager for the update of project material data base
