Manager: Business Intelligence Systems

SUMMARY:
The role as the manager of Business intelligence systems requires you to be responsible for gathering, analysing, and understanding business users’ data and analytics requirements and translating these requirements into analytics best practice technical solutions that meet the relevant business objectives.

POSITION INFO:

Responsibilities

• Accessing data, manipulating and interpret as efficiently as possible
• Work in conjunction with Business Leaders to gain business and technical insight in KPI definition, behaviors, and processing dependencies.
• Document and prepare business requirements documents (BRDs) that will include a business definition of KPI (document the logic driving business KPI and metrics calculations)) and visualization insight
• Business Analysis experience working with Relational, OLAP, or Data Warehouse platforms (Snowflake, SAP BW, Hyperion, Oracle, SQL Server)
• Data and analytics business analysis
• Relevant business area knowledge
• Front end technologies
• Data analytics and data governance
• Visualization
• Data product life cycle

Qualifications

• Post Graduate Degree required (e.g. applied mathematics, statistics, computer science, etc.) or equivalent experience
• 5 years experience in a similar role
• Preferably from the telecommunication industry
