Manager: SAP Operations CoE

SUMMARY:
Leading Life Assurer is currently in search of appointing an experienced and articulate SAP COE Manager with 10+ Years experience in applicable SAP solutions, building and motivating application development & support teams coupled with 5+ years experience managing operations in a SAP environment.

In summary, you will be required to establish and manage the CoE as an entity, manage the platform aspects associated with Change and Release Management across the SAP estate, manage operational Governance, Risk and Compliance matters associated with the SAP estate and establish SAP Solution Manager as the central application manage and administration solution, 

The role will also include a significant focus on cost optimisation, quote evaluation, management of work orders, forward projection of cost, financial risk mitigation and license compliance.

Qualifications

• 3-year qualification in Information Systems, Commerce or Engineering or equivalent industry experience
• An appropriate form of management training would be beneficial

Experience

• 10+ Years of experience in applicable SAP solutions
• 5+ Years building and motivating application development & support teams
• 5+ Years managing operations in a SAP environment
• 10+ Years of IT experience in general

Knowledge

• Management skills that include the management of technical leads, technical teams and technical specialists.
• Good understanding of Application Development and Change & Release Management practices, particularly as it pertains to SAP environments.
• Deep understanding of SAP security and GRC principles.
• Good understanding of ITIL processes in general.
• Extensive knowledge of SAP Systems environment, particularly as it pertains to the SAP products in the Group SAP estate, including:
