JOB SUMMARY:
To ensure efficient operation of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) by providing strategic leadership support, coordinating the company-wide goals into a coherent plan, managing and co-ordinating on project deliverables

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties

CEO Liaison
Ensure that policy or strategy decisions taken by the CEO are communicated to the correct audience in a timely manner and implemented
Monitor and follow-up on action plans to ensure deliverables on the company's strategic plan.
Participate in meetings with company’s EXCO and the Board.
Plan and coordinate quarterly EXCO planning process (objectives and key results) and events
Project management of strategic initiatives
Conduct research and strategically manage all CEO projects through proper planning, coordination and monitoring e.g. CSI initiatives, projects arising out of business initiatives or proposals and board initiated projects.
Manage CEO’s budget
Collate reports from divisions in line with the business strategic plan or CEO request
Develop high level presentations for CEO presentation at various forums, prepare and or review all CEO’s speeches for CEO’s final input.
Prepare monthly reports and make presentations as required.

Minimum Requirements

A Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Project Management/Business Management, Administration/Communication or equivalent.
5-8 years Project Management/Business Management, Administration/Communication experience or a related field.
Knowledge of the Tourism industry
Knowledge of the PFMA & regulations and other relevant legislation – e.g. the National Strategic Intelligence Act; the National Archives of South Africa Act; the Promotion of Access to Information Act.
