As a Manager: Treasury & Financial Risk, you will play a key role in advising clients on treasury governance, liquidity and funding risk, balance sheet management, Asset Liability Management (ALM), Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP), capital management, and treasury transformation initiatives.
You will lead client engagements, manage project delivery, contribute to business development efforts, and mentor junior team members while gaining exposure to a variety of organisations across Banking, Insurance, Asset Management, and broader Financial Services.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities Lead the delivery of Treasury and Financial Risk Management projects across multiple clients. Design and review treasury governance frameworks, policies, and risk management processes. Advise on liquidity risk, funding risk, capital management, ALM, FTP, and hedging strategies. Gather and document business requirements while managing stakeholder expectations and regulatory considerations. Support treasury system implementations, enhancements, and post-implementation reviews. Drive business development initiatives through proposal preparation, thought leadership, and client engagement. Coach and develop junior team members while contributing to the growth of the practice. Job Experience and Skills Required Education: BCom Honours in Finance, Commerce, Economics, or a related field. CA(SA), CFA, FRM, or equivalent professional qualification advantageous. Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience within Treasury, Financial Risk Management, Banking, Consulting, Advisory, or Financial Services environments. Strong exposure to Treasury Risk, Liquidity Risk, Market Risk, ALM, Funding, or Balance Sheet Management. Experience managing projects and engaging with senior stakeholders. Previous consulting or advisory experience will be advantageous. Skills: Treasury Operations and Governance Asset Liability Management (ALM) Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) Liquidity and Funding Risk Management Capital and Balance Sheet Management Treasury Systems and Risk Reporting Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills Non-Negotiables: Sound understanding of the regulatory environment affecting financial institutions.
