SUMMARY:
Reporting to the CEO, our client is seeking a highly ambitious and results-driven Executive that is willing to live abroad for extended periods.

POSITION INFO:

High-level key responsibility is to execute the business model in selected countries and develop a profile and presence in the new countries. Fluency in a non- South African language will be an advantage (Spanish/French/German). You will be required to provide direction, oversight and overall management and administration of an international office of the company and its operations. This includes taking responsibility for profit, revenue, cash and quality targets.

Qualification, Skills and Experience

Relevant business degree
Min of 3 years experience in a General Management role/s, which ideally would incorporate exposure to the following: Operations, Sales & Marketing, MIS and HR
Experience in conducting high-level negotiations with strategic partners
Must have a proven track record demonstrating their understanding of how a business operates
International experience will be a definite advantage
Fluency in a non- South African language will be an advantage (Spanish/French/German)
Exceptional leadership including people motivation and development
Excellent networking skills
Deliver the highest standards of customer service
Ability to recruit staff and monitor performance
Excellent interpersonal skills at all levels, including people management leadership
Experience of living abroad is desirable and must be sensitive to cultural differences
Understanding of financial management, budgets and cash flows
Project planning

Key Role Responsibilities

Identify the people requirements within the country office
Ensure all key players are recruited/enrolled into the new venture
Ensure all support departments within the new venture are up and running and all necessary tracking is in place
Track progress against agreed metrics and report to Head Office effectively and timeously
Monitor and review the external environment for changes and developments that may impact the business and in consultation with the Group Senior Management
Oversee company operations to ensure efficiency, quality, service and cost-effective resource management from start to handover
Ensure that the business fulfils all its legal requirements in the new country
Ensure management systems are appropriate to meet the business objectives and enable people to carry out their work effectively and efficiently
Responsible for managing and maintaining all key strategic partner relationships
