SUMMARY:
We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Director to lead our national production and operations function within a dynamic precast concrete and paving manufacturing environment.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities: Lead all manufacturing and operational activities to achieve production, quality, safety, and profitability targets. Develop and execute operational strategies that improve productivity, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and cost optimisation across multiple production facilities. Oversee production planning, supply chain collaboration, financial performance, and operational compliance. Lead and develop Business Unit and Operations Managers, fostering a high-performance culture. Ensure compliance with SHEQ, ISO 9001, OHS legislation, and company governance standards. Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, customers, and service providers. Deliver strategic reporting and operational performance insights to executive leadership. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Production, Operations Management, or a related field. MBA, MBL, or Executive Development Programme qualification will be advantageous. Minimum 10 years' manufacturing experience , including 8 years in senior production and operations management . Proven experience in the precast concrete, paving, construction materials, or heavy manufacturing sector. Strong commercial, financial, and strategic leadership capability. Sound knowledge of production planning, supply chain, procurement, continuous improvement, and people management. Experience with ERP systems (JDE\/SAP advantageous).
