Manufacturing Engineer - Gauteng

POSITION INFO:

A top-tier FMCG manufacturer in Gauteng is after a seasoned Manufacturing Engineer to lead site engineering and utilities operations. They need someone with 5 years + of solid experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably within the beverage, food or consumer goods industry. The role centers on keeping plant equipment running reliably, reducing downtime, and driving proactive maintenance and improvement strategies. A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Mechatronic Engineering is required, and a GCC (Factories) is essential for South African candidates. Hands-on knowledge of systems like boilers, HVAC, compressed air, CO₂, and water treatment is a must, along with strong CMMS skills and project coordination ability.
