JOB DESCRIPTION:

Highly successful and dynamic manufacturing operation situated in Cape Town, is looking to employ a Manufacturing Engineer on one of their manufacturing sites. This role entails pioneering improvement and optimisation of manufacturing processes, systems, tools and equipment. You will be the link between the production and engineering departments and will liaise with the design office, production department and R&D to ensure the smooth roll out of new prototype designs onto production lines and take responsibility for BOM requirements and concerns.

Risk assessment, safety and quality will also form an important part of your focus responsibilities.

Requirements:

Mechanical Engineering Diploma or Degree

3 years’ experience in a Manufacturing environment

Experience in manufacturing of Tooling, Jigs and Fixtures

Proficiency in Solidworks

Advanced skills in Excel

Experience in SYSPRO is highly advantageous

Experience in a similar role in the Automotive or Aerospace industry will secure your interview.
