SUMMARY:
To lead our DBN based plant management team in the development and delivery of a cost-effective manufacturing value chain integrated with quality and maintenance for optimized performance.

POSITION INFO:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Drive cost optimization through implementation of Operational Excellence methodologies and frameworks

Oversee implementation of best manufacturing practices to improve plant reliability and performance

Ensure that the operation complies with legislation and set governance policies and procedures across the business value chain

Ensure an integrated supply chain to maintain and improve customer service

Lead and Build high performance teams

Qualifications:

Relevant Bachelor’s Degree in manufacturing/engineering is required

Knowledge:

Technical understanding of Product Quality Planning and lean manufacturing

Knowledge of manufacturing and procurement/supply chain processes

Understanding of quality systems and legislation frameworks

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Experience:

8-10 Years production plant experience in a management role

Experience in leading plant management teams

Managing change

Innovation in manufacturing process to improve productivity

Facilitate asset care processes to improve plant reliability

Oversee raw material supply to ensure that product and process meet quality system requirements

Develops new insights; designs and implements new or cutting-edge programs/processes

Develops the ability of others to perform through coaching

Determines objectives, sets priorities and holds self and others accountable for measurable high-quality and cost-effective results
