SUMMARY:
A well-established Medical out let seeks the assistance of a Marketing Manager. This position will formulate a marketing strategy against the hospitals overall strategic objectives and will design plans.

POSITION INFO:

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or relevant major is required
  • Master’s in Business Administration advantageous 

Requirements

  • At least 5 years extensive senior management experience in marketing with a proven track record in the services or hospital industry.
  • Demonstrate previous marketing initiatives assisted in growing top line revenue and volumes.
  • Demonstrated an understanding of the different market segments in a hospital environment and the appropriate marketing channel/tactic for each segment.
  • Effective and relevant use of social and digital media, advertising and communications platforms, content creation, and website management that effectively engages with a hospital target market.
  • An excellent ability to bring stories to life and in particular tell stories that communicates across cultural lines.
  • Ability to identify unique and core capabilities and competitive advantages and leverage to build a strong brand.
  • A proactive servicing approach and a strong sense of urgency to respond to matters on time
  • Past experience of using subtle-marketing techniques to build a brand that is “first in mind”

 

Duties

Marketing strategy

  • Development of strategic marketing plans that drive growth in the segments we play in and patient and corporate client retention and engagement.
  • Constantly enquire and understand business priorities in a very dynamic environment.
  • Work on initiatives that will strengthen current competitive advantages and differentiate the hospital in other areas.
  • Strong collaboration with operations to put marketing ideas into action by ensuring that ideas are successfully rolled out.

Marketing execution

  • Drives executional excellence of marketing plan activation that supports the overall marketing strategy and growth.
  • Plans, implements, and measures all day-to-day marketing responsibilities such as: activation of marketing campaigns; coordination of events and seminars; highlighting positive stories across paid media, including social.
  • Keen level of focus on measuring results of all in market activities. Analysis complex information to distil impact of marketing programs and conversions.
  • Maintains comprehensive knowledge of hospital-based operations, service lines and physician relations. Participates in the planning, implementation and management of the hospital marketing budget

Brand building

  • Develop a strong understanding of the markets we play in as well as the geographic, psychographic and demographic segmentation of our markets and developing a brand identity that will speak to our market.
  • Strive to continuously establish and build positive brand perceptions.

Internal marketing

  • Build knowledge about patient experiences and ensure continuous improvement by collaborating with operations and nursing functions.
  • Effective management of the internal PRO function.

External marketing

  • Develop a plan and work with hospital senior management on a value proposition for local business to develop the WCA market.
  • Engagement with local doctors and specialists to build strong relationships.
