SUMMARY:
A globally backed, challenger beverage brand is building serious momentum in South Africa and is looking for a commercially sharp Trade Marketing Manager to own in-store execution and drive growth at the point of purchase.

This is a high-impact role at the intersection of brand, sales, and shopper. You’ll shape and deliver activations across Modern and Traditional Trade, while partnering closely with retailers and distributors to boost visibility and conversion.

POSITION INFO:
What you’ll deliver:

Develop and execute channel-specific trade marketing strategies aligned to commercial goals
Own the commercial calendar, landing best-in-class brand and retailer activations
Lead shopper-led campaigns that convert at shelf
Partner with distributors to strengthen execution and expand market presence
Manage trade investment and track ROI against clear commercial metrics
Translate data and insights into actions that grow share and sales

Minimum requirements:

Strong FMCG experience, ideally in beverages/soft drinks
Proven shopper marketing expertise (essential)
Solid understanding of SA retail dynamics across MT & TT
Commercially sharp with experience managing budgets and ROI
Strong influencing and stakeholder engagement skills
Hands-on, execution focused, with high accountability
