Marketing Manager

SUMMARY:
Marketing Manager will develop and lead a team to drive brand penetration, advertising, below and above the line marketing that leads to increased foot traffic and ultimately sales conversions in both retail and ecommerce channels of the business.

Candidates must have experience in the Home Furniture and Decor industry

Monday – Fridays (8:00 – 16:30)
Every alternative Saturday (8:00 – 13:00)

Areas of Responsibility:

Strategy development and implementation:

• Lead the development of the annual omni channel marketing & sales strategy and targets with the relevant stakeholders input based on market research, insights and sales analytics
• Annual budget development and spend management
• Develop the annual marketing plan/calendar
• Track strategy implementation and targets monthly
• Readjust the strategy in response to market changes as needed  

• Optimise team productivity through process streamlining; standard operating procedures & daily team management
• Ensure job role alignment to divisional needs
• Team performance management

• Omni channel brand building activities including but not limited to:
• Outdoor, radio, TV and print (promos; catalogue;posters) advertising management
• Digital brand building management (Optimise digital content strategies and outputs)
• In store activations campaign design and management
• Hello Peter & google ranking optimisation strategy design and implementation

• Manage the service providers/team to drive the monthly and annual targets
• Derive new ideas to boost online sales and click throughs
• Ad spend management across digital channels
• Ongoing site optimisation & development
• Track, analyse, manage & report on the following metrics on a monthly basis:
• SEO score optimisation
• Impressions & Reach
• 10:1 spend ROI
• Ad campaigns ROI
• Subscribers click through rates
• Community engagement ratios
• Organic traffic rates
• Revenue per click
• Brand name search
• Competitor rankings
• Increase Average order volumes
• Increase add to cart ratios
• Measure & improve cart abandonment rates
• Measure & minimise refund or return rates
• Online merchandising quality (photos and descriptions)
