Marketing Manager - Fashion Brand

POSITION INFO:

• Conceptualize internal and external marketing initiatives for ongoing marketing activities for the business in line with the brand objectives
• Implementing and managing the digital strategy for the brand including web, ecommerce and social media
• Implementing strategic marketing plans to set the direction and to help achieve the mission of the brand.
• Implementation of agreed plans
• Ensure thorough alignment and reporting to global office on global brands
• Identify needs, gaps and opportunities for the brand and implementation of these
• Manage agencies, partners and suppliers to ensure cost-saving and return on investment
• Ensuring that visual merchandising reflects perception of the brands
• Managing the marketing budget and approval process to ensure cost-effective spending, forecasting and tracking
• Managing multiple projects within the business and drive deadlines as per groups instruction
• Develop and maintain a strong business network as a reliable source of information.
• Managing the marketing team to ensure productivity, alignment and enthusiastic brand operation
• Building a thorough understanding of retail channels (groups and independents) and collate research into annual brand objectives
• Providing critical support to reinforce sales efforts that lead to profits for the group
• Defining and achieving the brands business targets for the team.
• Corresponding with retailers on marketing activity
• Ensure briefs on in-store promotions are on-point per store and competing with competitor brand activity
• Ensure retail marketing activity is strongly aligned and always present with brand activity
• Increase brand KPI’s / brand metrics
• Drive CRM across suppliers and global teams.

Minimum Skills/Requirements:

• Relevant Marketing or Communications Diploma or Degree
• 5-10 years’ experience in looking after a fashion brand
• Min 5 years relevant corporate strategic marketing and communications experience
• Min 3 to 5 years leadership experience (with an established leadership track record) preferably in the Wholesale & Retail Industry
• Budget Management
• Retail & Fashion brand experience
• Global Brand experience
• Media Management experience
• Advanced Excel skills
