Mechanical Design Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Understanding Technical Requirements of Clients in the Automotive Industry Creating of Innovative Engineering Concept
  Solutions to Meet Client Needs.
• Working with Other Engineers to Perform Feasibility Studies, Develop Models, and Specify Hardware and Equipment.
• Working with Other Engineers to Improve on Existing Processes and Mechanical Designs.
• Determining and Costing of Mechanical Hardware and Labour Required for Potential Projects.
• Becoming Familiar with Client Specific Mechanical Design Standards and Practices.
• Preparation and Formatting of Tender Documentation.
• Obtaining Supplier Quotes.
• Adhoc Tasks.

Requirements:

• Qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Related.
• Eagerness to Enhance and Grow Understanding of Engineering Principles and Systems.
• Additional Studies Welcomed in the Direction Suited to This Position.
• Experience with 3D Engineering CAD Software Advantageous.
• Experience in Project Costing Advantageous.
• Strong Microsoft Office Skills
• Very Good Verbal and Written Communication.
• Pro-Active Work Ethic.
• Excellent Organisational Skills.
• Excellent Time Management Skills.
• Excellent Attention to Detail.
• Experience in the Automotive Automation Advantageous.
