JOB SUMMARY:
Senior Draughtsman (Contract) - Inventor & AutoCAD 3D with 5 years drawing experience in mining process equipment

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Responsibilities:

Designing required process equipment under guidance of Manager - Projects

Following drawing office and quality procedures in execution of work
Working strictly according to deadlines as agreed with Manager – Projects
Liaising with suppliers, clients and sub-contractors as required
Communicating effectively with clients, suppliers and sub-contractors as required
Keeping effective records of discussions/correspondence with clients, suppliers and sub-contractors
Building and maintaining effective relationships with suppliers, clients and sub-contractors

Other requirements:

Own transport with a Valid driver’s license
Computer literacy required: MS Word (Basic), MS Excel (Basic) and MS Outlook (Basic)
Advanced computer literacy requirements: Experience with AutoCAD 3D & Inventor

Minimum Qualification/education levels for this position:

Relevant qualification in mechanical design or similar qualification
Required experience
Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in mechanical design and draughting
Relevant experience in the mining industry
Experience with structural steel and plate work
Experience with draughting thickeners will be viewed as an advantage
Responsible for general arrangements, details and layouts of drawings prefer ability will be given to a person with process plant experience.

- A person with mining process equipment would be a preferred candidate
