POSITION INFO:
Job & Company description: Join an established international multi-disciplinary engineering and construction contractor delivering complex, high-value projects across South Africa and international markets. The business operates in technically demanding sectors including data centres, pharmaceuticals, power and major infrastructure, providing engineers with exposure to leading-edge projects, collaborative teams and excellent opportunities for long-term career development. Coordinate mechanical engineering activities from design through onsite installation and commissioning. Review drawings, specifications, P&IDs and technical submittals, manage RFIs, procurement documentation and equipment verification, and coordinate with design teams, contractors and subcontractors. Support project reporting, quality inspections, snagging, test packs, method statements and risk assessments while ensuring installations meet technical, quality and project requirements. Job Experience and Skills Required: Degree\/BTech in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent recognised engineering qualification. Proven experience in mechanical project engineering, MEP, HVAC or mechanical building services within a construction\/project environment. Experience reviewing and coordinating mechanical drawings, P&IDs, specifications, technical submittals and RFIs through to onsite installation. Practical exposure to procurement, subcontractor coordination, quality inspections, snagging, test packs and commissioning. Experience within data centres, pharmaceutical, mission-critical, commercial building services or similarly complex engineering\/construction projects would be highly advantageous. Apply now!
