JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client, an exploration drilling company, requires a Mechatronic Engineer or a Mechanical Engineer with experience in Electronics, for a new mechanical development that will add to their range of technical capabilities. The successful candidate's core role will entail spearheading and managing this innovation. This role will require someone who has has a solid understanding of the interdisciplinary engineering branches related to robotics as well as being capable of applying themselves to every aspect of the system including installations, site inspections, fault finding and product development.

Travel to other project sites across the country will be expected.

Qualification / Experience:

B.Eng/BTech/BSc. in Mechatronic / Electrical Engineering
More than 4 years suitable working experience

Advantageous Competencies:

Able to work independently
Advanced computer skills
Driver’s license and own transportation
Willing to travel
Project Management experience or exposure
