JOB SUMMARY:

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Together with our client in Skeerpoort, North West, we are recruiting for a for a Medical Care Giver. The Ideal Candidate needs to have at least 2 years of similar experience in the private sector and must be registered with SANC or HPCSA.

Duties:

Assist patient with personal care and hygiene
Help patient with physical therapy exercises
Plan and prepare meals
Be a pleasant and supportive companion
Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
Take a report from the previous shift
Feed patient if needed.
Monitoring health-related conditions such as dietary & fluid intake.
Safely using aids and personal equipment in a manner that respects the dignity of the patient
Contribute to an effective system of communication within the team
Ensure that the Health and Safety policies are implemented at all times
Undertake any other duties specified by Management
Ensure that patients have been bathed and washed
Record date relating to vitals
Bowel action charts
Report any serious conditions or incidences
Do regular rounds and report any abnormalities

Requirements:

Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Primary Health Care
Must be registered with the SANC of HPCSA
Have a Matric Certificate
Ability to handle the nature of the work
Be bilingual
Have empathy
Own transport

Working Hours:

To be discussed in the interview
