Medical Care Giver

Together with our client in Skeerpoort, North West, we are recruiting for a for a Medical Care Giver. The Ideal Candidate needs to have at least 2 years of similar experience in the private sector and must be registered with SANC or HPCSA.

Duties:

• Assist patient with personal care and hygiene
• Help patient with physical therapy exercises
• Plan and prepare meals
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Take a report from the previous shift
• Feed patient if needed.
• Monitoring health-related conditions such as dietary & fluid intake.
• Safely using aids and personal equipment in a manner that respects the dignity of the patient
• Contribute to an effective system of communication within the team
• Ensure that the Health and Safety policies are implemented at all times
• Undertake any other duties specified by Management
• Ensure that patients have been bathed and washed
• Record date relating to vitals
• Bowel action charts
• Report any serious conditions or incidences
• Do regular rounds and report any abnormalities

Requirements:

• Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Primary Health Care
• Must be registered with the SANC of HPCSA
• Have a Matric Certificate
• Ability to handle the nature of the work
• Be bilingual
• Have empathy
• Own transport

Working Hours:

• To be discussed in the interview
