JOB DESCRIPTION:

A well-established medical practice based in Gardens Cape Town is looking to employ an experienced Practice Manager/Administrator to join their organisation.

Applicants will need to meet the following requirements

  • Matric / Grade 12
  • Extremely people- patient and friendly.
  • Good at resolving complaints, providing high quality personal service
  • Organized and Efficient- must do well under time pressure and work in a systemized way
  • Multi-tasker- responsibilities include attending the phone/ walk-ins/ processing quotes/ fetching products
  • Must be Microsoft office proficient including Office, Excel and Word
  • Basic accounting/ book-keeping understanding
  • Experience in medical/ spa field preferred
  • Experience in retail a bonus

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Managing appointment diaries for 3-4 doctors
  • Confirming appointment telephonically/ email
  • Collating queries for doctors from patients
  • Requesting and collating blood results from the labs
  • Assisting with the retail/ dispensary aspect of the practice ie: sale of supplements and health products
  • Stock management of above/ must be able to handle procurement aspects with other office administrator Ie; counting, handling, packing stock and selling stock
  • Chasing and reconciling accounts
