Medical Sales Representative

SUMMARY:
Our client, a leading organisation within the medical industry, is seeking an experienced and driven Sales Representative to join their Sales & Marketing team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a results-oriented sales professional with strong medical industry experience, technical aptitude and an established understanding of the hospital CSSD and Operating Theatre environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling a range of medical consumables and capital equipment, developing new business opportunities and strengthening relationships with existing customers.

POSITION INFO:
Drive sales of medical consumables and capital equipment within the allocated territory. Develop new business opportunities while growing existing customer accounts. Build and maintain strong relationships with key healthcare decision-makers, including: CSSD Unit Managers Theatre Unit Managers Infection Prevention Practitioners Clinical Engineers Hospital Buyers and other key stakeholders Conduct regular customer visits and sales calls. Identify customer needs, product opportunities and competitor activity. Conduct and participate in capital equipment demonstrations. Follow up on quotations and actively work towards achieving sales targets. Assist with new equipment installations and provide customer in-service training. Manage customer queries and complaints, ensuring issues are investigated and resolved effectively. Maintain accurate customer and sales opportunity information on the CRM system. Prepare regular sales, customer and market activity reports. Attend relevant congresses, forums, workshops and industry events. Provide first-line technical support, including the assessment, servicing and repair of medical equipment. Assist with equipment installation, commissioning and scheduled maintenance. Ensure compliance with company quality management, health and safety and administrative requirements. Remain up to date with product knowledge, hospital decontamination processes and relevant technical requirements. Minimum Requirements At least 5 years' medical industry sales experience. Proven track record in medical sales, preferably involving consumables and capital equipment . First-line technical experience. Good understanding of the hospital CSSD and Operating Theatre environment . Bachelor's degree preferred. CRICE accreditation. Valid Code B driver's licence. Willingness and ability to undertake overnight travel when required. Good technical proficiency, with the ability to work with electrical, electronic and mechanical systems. Computer literacy, including MS Windows and MS Office . Experience using a CRM system . Key Competencies We are looking for a candidate who is: Results-driven and proactive.
