Merchant Enablement Specialist

SUMMARY:
As a merchant enablement specialist, you will play a pivotal role to fully enable merchants and aggregators that the Company sales team have signed up to participate in company You will be responsible for engaging with various internal teams in the Bank in relation to merchant enablement. You will further ensure that the merchant and aggregator relationship is handed over to the company Merchant Helpdesk for any “business as usual” support services and queries. The role may evolve during the contract period to include additional merchant enablement tasks beyond company

• Project Management Experience essential
• Process Improvement and documentation skills
• Ability to understand and document business requirements and apply operational improvements
• Excellent admin and documentation skills
• Good financial acumen and reporting skills, experience with Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work independently and be self-motivated

• Years’ experience in a similar role
• Matric
• Bachelor’s degree would be advantageous
• Project Management Certification would be advantageous

• You will work closely with the company team. Our ideal person is responsible for the following, but not limited to the items listed below:
• Enablement of new merchants and aggregators
• Be involved in planning and kick off sessions for new merchants and aggregators
• Ensure Merchant/s & aggregators contracts are completed thoroughly
• Liaising with Legal if there are any changes that need to be made to contracts
• Co-ordinate with Vietnam teams to enable the merchants & aggregators on the Company systems
• Ensure More Company product is technically enabled in the merchant’s store and working. Where required adapt to aggregator process.
• Ensure the merchant’s respective staff members have received training on e.g.:
• The company product
• The process that needs to be followed at the cashier
• The financial process that needs to be followed with company
• Liaise with company marketing to ensure that marketing material is delivered and installed at the merchant’s premises
• Welcome the fully enabled merchant and aggregator to the company family when required.
• Introduce the merchant & aggregator to the support channels that are available to them and ensure that they are familiar with the processes that need to be followed for the different support services they may need going forward as part of BAU.
• Point of escalation for merchants to solve issues not resolved via the normal call logging process like system or business operation issues e.g., settlement queries not being resolved etc.
• Function set up and Improvement of merchant & aggregator enablement process and Merchant Support via Helpdesk
• Support to company team and company Helpdesk team in documenting processes for merchants & aggregator to follow when there are issues
• Support the company team in creating & or updating the company e FAQ sheet for merchants & aggregators if required
• Work closely with the Business Enablement team as they go through further development and enhancements of company
