SUMMARY:
South AfricaÃ¢Â€Â™s largest specialized lead recycler company is seeking a Metals Accountant Controller to join their illustrious team. The Metals Accountant Controller will be responsible for verifying all incoming receipts, finished good dispatches, double checking finished good stocks balance with Syspro, weekly stock take, generating reports and managing the regarding of production.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements:

Matric / Grade 12.
Diploma in Accounting or related field.
At least 2 – 3 years’ experience in an accounting position processing payment to suppliers.
2 – 3 years’ working knowledge of Syspro.
Good Verbal Communication Skills.
Attention to detail and highly accurate.
Deadline driven.

Performance Areas (Responsibilities):

The Metals Accountant Controller’s duties shall include, but not be limited to:

Creditors:To reconcile COD supplier invoices & statements against purchase orders, GRN’s, and delivery notes and prepare for payment so that the company creditors are correctly and timeously paid in accordance with company procedures.
Cashbook:To process all the cashbook receipts and payments so that the cashbook balances to the bank statement.
Administration:To perform general administrative duties, to ensure the smooth running of the finance department.
Supplier Service:No supplier complaints due to dissatisfaction with service.
Environment, Safety and Housekeeping:To maintain a safe and healthy working environment to ensure that accidents are kept to a minimum, in compliance with the applicable ISO standards.
