POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Mining Engineering. Minimum of 10 years' experience in underground hard-rock mining production management. Botswana ERB (Engineers Registration Board) registration preferred. Proven experience in on-site operational coordination. Strong crew leadership and workforce management skills. Demonstrated commitment to mining safety, productivity, and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage underground mining production operations. Coordinate daily mining activities to achieve production targets. Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations. Supervise and develop mining personnel and contractors. Monitor operational performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Liaise with technical, geological, engineering, and maintenance teams to optimize mine performance. Ensure effective deployment of resources, equipment, and manpower. Candidate Profile The ideal candidate is a hands-on mining professional with extensive underground hard-rock mining experience, strong leadership abilities, and the capability to manage teams effectively in a demanding mining environment.
