JOB SUMMARY:
A civils and earth-moving operation in East Africa specializing in Mining is looking for a Mining Operations manager that has the experience and expertise in the Mining industry to be successful in this position

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirements:

Matric
Fluent in English
Open cast related Technical Qualification
International Blasting Ticket
Applicable International Drivers license
In-House operator Training Courses
Caterpillar Operator training
Safe operating Procedures
Mining Engineering
At least 5 year’s Production supervision on an open cast mine
Operating Earth moving Equipment

Duties include but not Limited to:

Maintaining Loading area including dust suppression and water control and identifying hazards and risks
Maintaining Tipping area
Maintaining Haul Roads
Keeping to Safety standards and procedures
Ensure all HR policies and procedures are adhered to
Team building and training
Administration
Organize Production, Drill and Blasting activities
Know emergency and first aid procedures
Performance evaluation

Reporting to Project manager and Chief Operating Officer

Salary and benefits: Salary and Benefits: R110000-R140000

Housing, Transport and Travel allowances, Working on a Roster of 100/21 Days
