We are looking for a dynamic National HR Manager to lead the full HR function across multiple regions and partner with operations to build a compliant, engaged, and high-performing workforce.

This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role suited to someone who can operate confidently at executive level while still driving day-to-day HR excellence.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute the national HR strategy in line with business objectives
• Manage and mentor a small HR team, ensuring smooth HR administration and reporting
• Drive labour relations, disciplinary processes, grievances, incapacity matters, and performance management
• Represent the business at the CCMA and Bargaining Council
• Oversee nationwide recruitment, onboarding, and talent acquisition processes
• Manage Skills Development, WSPs, ATR submissions, and Employment Equity compliance
• Facilitate EE Committee meetings and submissions (EEA2 / EEA4)
• Oversee payroll processes, leave administration, workforce budgets, and hours control
• Ensure PRP / time & attendance systems are accurate and compliant
• Lead HR policy development, audits, and legislative compliance
• Partner with senior management on restructuring, expansions, and workforce planning
• Support Health & Safety compliance, incidents, investigations, and IOD processes

Requirements:

• South African Citizen
• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources / BCom HR or related qualification
• Minimum 5–7 years HR experience, with 3–5 years in senior HR management
• Strong FMCG experience essential
• Proven experience in multi-site operations
• Strong labour law knowledge (LRA, BCEA, OHS Act, EE Act)
• Solid exposure to payroll, workforce planning, HR systems, and reporting
• Experience in retail, food production, hospitality, or fast-moving operational environments - essential
