Requirements:

Grade 12.
A relevant tertiary qualification, e.g. a B Com or Business degree or similar qualification;
RE1 and RE5.
At least 10 years of solid sales experience within the Financial / Healthcare industry, as well as experience with an insurer or broker;
Minimum 5 yearsâ€™ management experience;
Technical knowledge of employee benefit products and industry;
A proven track record of achievement in sales, hunting and closure of business;
Broker management in the healthcare sphere would be advantageous

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Develop and rollout strategy for the expansion and growth of the business to include an increase in new as well as repeat business;
Establishment of a countrywide network of agencies and branches, as well as franchises;
Management of Independent Financial Advisors as well as Brokers Solutions and Corporate Development Consultants, to achieve targets as minimum requirement;
Establishing & growing network of referral brokers and brokerages to ensure continuous growth of referral business for the purpose on selling and cross selling across products and categories;
Build new business prospects across key corporate, consumer markets and industries for ongoing new business conversion across health, investments, short-term and long-term insurance products.
Comprehensive financial management from budgeting to reporting;
Prepare departmental budgets;
Manage cost/expenditure in accordance with budget;
Reconciliation of monthly commissionâ€™s payable
Prepare and submit monthly Scheme BOT and EXCO reports and the presentation thereof
