About the Role: We are seeking a dynamic, driven National Sales Manager to drive our sales strategy and lead our national sales team at our Head Office in Parktown, Johannesburg.  The National Sales Manager will head up our Hotel Sales Team, driving expansion and growth within our 6 (six) hotels located across South Africa.  This role focuses on developing and executing sales processes to achieve organizational goals, expanding our market presence, and fostering strong customer relationships.  The successful candidate will play a crucial role in shaping the direction of our sales operations across the country.  Strong sales experience as well as people management skills and experience essential for this exciting role.  Proven track record and strong background in Hotels & Resorts.  We are looking for someone to inspire and lead our sales team to achieve great things in a supportive team environment Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company sales targets and objectives. Lead, mentor, and manage a team of regional sales managers to ensure effective sales execution. Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to enhance customer satisfaction and retention. Monitor sales performance metrics and prepare regular reports for senior management to inform strategic decisions. Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with overall company initiatives. Train and develop sales staff, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. Conduct regular field visits to understand customer needs and market dynamics firsthand. Requirements: Proven track record in sales management, preferably in a related industry. Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and developing high-performing sales teams. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market research. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships at all levels. Driver's license and own vehicle essential Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite Preferred Qualifications: Grade 12 or equivalent qualification Bachelor's degree in Sales, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Experience in digital sales strategies and e-commerce platforms. Familiarity with the South African market and regulatory environment. Additional qualifications in sales or management, such as an MBA or sales certification will be advantageous.
