Purpose of the job:
A National Sales Manager in manufacturing drives national revenue growth by developing sales strategies, managing regional teams, and nurturing key client relationships.
 

Required Qualifications:

1. Degree or Diploma
2. Proven experience leading a sales team successfully
3. Must be able to work within a cross functional group setting with significant collaboration but also be independent.

1. Strategic Planning & Growth: Developing and executing comprehensive national sales strategies to increase market share and profitability.
2. Team Leadership: Leading, mentoring, and coaching a nationwide team of sales representatives or regional managers to achieve targets.
3. Key Account Management: Building and maintaining relationships with top clients, negotiating, and closing large, high-value contracts.
4. Sales Forecasting & Analysis: Analyzing performance metrics, market data, and trends to prepare accurate, timely sales forecasts and reports.
5. Operational Collaboration: Working closely with marketing and product development teams to ensure brand consistency, successful product launches, and alignment with production capabilities.
6. Performance Monitoring: Tracking sales data to identify strengths and weaknesses, adjusting plans to address inadequacies.
7. Supply Chain Coordination: Coordinating with production and logistics to meet customer demands for manufactured goods.
8. Technical Sales Knowledge: Possessing in-depth knowledge of products/services to support the sales team in technical negotiations.
