SUMMARY:

A well-established chemical manufacturing business is seeking a National Sales Manager to be responsible for leading national hospitality sales, driving sustainable business growth, developing strategic customer relationships, managing commercial performance, providing team leadership, and expanding market presence.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements for the role: Must have a relevant tertiary qualification in Sales, Marketing, Business Management, Commerce or a related field Minimum 5-10 years' sales experience, preferably within the hospitality, cleaning chemicals, hygiene, laundry, FMCG, facilities management or related industries Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a senior sales management or national\/key-account leadership role Proven experience working with major customers and procurement functions Demonstrated success in business development and key-account management Must have proven experience in sales team management, with strong commercial and financial understanding Willingness and ability to travel nationally The successful candidate will be responsible for: Developing and implementing a comprehensive national hospitality sales strategy aligned with overall business objectives. Driving aggressive but sustainable new-business development within the hospitality sector. Owning and developing relationships with the most strategically important hospitality customers. Ensuring that products are being sold as solutions rather than commodities. Building the company profile and market presence within the hospitality industry. Providing strong commercial leadership to the hospitality sales team. Leading from the front and remaining actively involved in major customer negotiations and strategic accounts. Maintaining rigorous control over the national hospitality sales pipeline. Being accountable not only for revenue growth but also for profitable growth. Leading the hospitality sales function in major tender and contract opportunities. Championing a customer-centric approach throughout the sales organisation. Working with technical and R&D teams to identify new product opportunities. Promoting the company's sustainability proposition within the hospitality sector.
