SUMMARY:
NATIONAL TECHNICAL MANAGER (CRANES)
East Rand

Our well-established client based in the East Rand is seeking a seasoned National Technical Manager with extensive technical experience in Mobile Cranes, Hydraulics, and Pneumatics.

Non-Negotiable Requirements:

• 5–8 years' Technical Management experience
• Technical experience with Mobile Cranes
• Experience with Hydraulics and Pneumatics
• Diesel/Mechanical Trade
• Relevant Tertiary Qualification

POSITION INFO:
Duties: Assist in preparing annual maintenance and trade expense budgets and forecasts. Monitor repair and maintenance expenditure to ensure costs remain within or below budget. Continuously develop the technical capabilities of staff through ongoing training on new technologies. Undertake special projects and additional responsibilities as assigned by management. Work closely with the Procurement team and OEMs to secure quality products and services at competitive prices and within required timeframes. Manage and process all OEM warranty claims. Oversee the registration of all newly manufactured generators. Drive generator sales while ensuring excellent customer support for both existing and prospective clients. Achieve national generator sales revenue and profit margin targets in line with management objectives. Prepare and submit accurate and timely budget, forecast, branch, and customer visitation reports. Promote and present new products and service offerings to existing and potential customers. Provide customers and internal stakeholders with regular updates on work in progress. Apply supplier pricing structures that align with sales and profitability objectives. Identify, develop, and present new business opportunities to Executive Management (MANCO). Coordinate and facilitate customer site surveys as required.
