SUMMARY:
Our client in the fleet management space seeks a Group OHS Manager to provide strategic and operational leadership of Occupational Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (SHERQ) management nationally.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

Health and Safety related degree
Post grad qualification in Fleet Management or similar advantageous
8 years’ experience in occupational health and safety management
3 years’ management experience
Proven ability to liaise with a wide variety of stakeholders at all levels
Safety Management Training Course (SAMTRAC) Certified
Safety, Health, Environment, Risk and Quality (SHERQ) Certified
ISO 9001 and 14001 Certified
Code 08 Driver’s Licence

Key Responsibilities:
To provide strategic and operational leadership of Occupational Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality
(SHERQ) management across the Group / nationally. The role ensures full compliance with applicable
legislation including the Occupational Health and Safety Act 85 of 1993 and drives a proactive safety culture
aligned with ISO standards and best practice. The role is accountable for risk mitigation, compliance oversight,
national OHS governance, and audit performance
