SUMMARY:
You’ll play a vital role in managing data across central and plant-level IT systems. Your responsibilities will range from scripting, automation, and Linux server administration to designing secure file systems and supporting cloud migrations.

POSITION INFO:
Key responsibilities:

Administer Linux (SLES, RHEL) and Windows environments
Manage NAS data using iStore, DIVA, and web tools like CA Cleanup, CASR, RESMON, CA-ITS
Configure DFS and AutoFS for efficient data access and archiving
Automate processes with Ansible and maintain documentation in CMDB/ConnectIT
Serve as the go-to for data management in cloud and hybrid setups
Participate in ITSM processes (Incident, Problem, Change)
Monitor, forecast, and report on storage demands

Essential Skills

Linux admin expertise (SLES, RHEL)
Proficiency with AD/LDAP, DFS, NFS, CIFS, and Linux Automounter
Scripting experience in Python and Bash
Version control and automation via GitHub and Ansible
Understanding of storage systems and file system hierarchies
Familiarity with Windows and cross-platform environments

Bonus Skills

Nexus, Artifactory, or repository management tools
Experience with RedHat IDM, Ansible Tower, or Public/Private Cloud (Azure, AWS)
Knowledge of ITIL/ITSM processes and tools
Bash, Perl scripting, or web application experience
Cloud data migration and storage planning

Preferred Qualifications

Degree in Information Systems or relevant experience
3–5+ years in Linux Admin in complex IT environments
Certifications in ITIL, Ansible, Linux, or Cloud technologies (advantageous)
