SUMMARY:
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager in a dynamic supply chain environment, driving process improvements and branch optimisation.

POSITION INFO:
Our client is a leading distributor in the refrigeration and HVAC sector, with a strong footprint across South Africa. Known for innovation and excellent customer service, they pride themselves on operational excellence, stock management, and growing their branch network. This role offers the chance to be part of a progressive company focused on continuous improvement and expansion.

Duties:

Manage and improve branch operations, including stock control, stock takes, and returns policies.
Collaborate with operations teams to resolve shipping and stock issues.
Oversee pick and pack operations for multiple outlets.
Develop and monitor KPIs to ensure efficiency.
Lead branch revamps and maintain a high standard of branch appearance and layout.
Drive continuous process improvements aligned with business goals.

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years’ experience in operations management within the supply chain or product distribution industry.
Proven ability to manage stock control, returns, and warehouse optimisation.
Experience working with 3PL companies and coordinating with operations teams.
Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and data analysis tools.
Relevant tertiary qualification (Degree or Diploma) with a valid driver’s license.
