SUMMARY:
We are seeking a highly experienced Operations Manager to join a leading organisation in the financial services sector, reporting directly to the Chief Executive. This is a strategic leadership role suited to a professional with deep expertise in Defined Contribution (DC) funds and a strong background in the retirement/pension fund environment.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of 6 managers, driving performance and operational excellence
Oversee and optimise operations within the business
Contribute to strategic initiatives, including digital transformation projects
Engage with senior stakeholders and provide high-level reporting to the CE
Ensure compliance, governance, and best practice within the retirement fund space

Minimum Requirements:

Relevant qualification (Diploma or Degree)
Minimum 6 years’ experience in a similar role within the retirement/pension fund industry
At least 3 years’ experience in a management/leadership capacity
Strong working knowledge of DC funds (essential)
RE5 qualification (advantageous)
Exposure to digital transformation initiatives (beneficial)
