Operations Support Engineer

SUMMARY:
Are you a computer engineer that enjoys solving difficult problems? Your exceptional skills in customer documentation, technical incident report and identifying gaps in technical documentation is needed. POSITION INFO:

Working as part of an on-call rota team you will be responsible for responding within SLA timeframes to MSC Tier 1 calls out of hours

You will also attend to the Change advisory board for any customer change requests and provide technical consultancy by the VC and onsite

Skills & Experience:

Minimum of 4 years VMWre vSphere6

Minimum of 4 Dell Servers and Dell EMC Storage

Minimum of 3 years Azure IAAS

Solid understanding of enterprise storage techniques

Extensive scripting knowledge, PowerShell, Power Cli

Widespread knowledge on container technologies such as Kubernetes

Qualification:

IT related qualification

CISCO CCNP Data Centre

MCSE/MCSA

Dell Server and Storage Application

ITIL Foundation
