SUMMARY:
Managed Talent Solutions’ client in the retail sector is seeking an Oracle Functional Support Consultant to support and enhance Oracle Financial systems within a fast-paced operational environment.

This role will focus on providing user support, troubleshooting, and assisting with system configuration across key financial modules, while ensuring smooth day-to-day finance system operations.

POSITION INFO:
Qualification & Experience Required:

Matric plus a relevant qualification in Finance, Accounting, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
2–5 years’ experience supporting Oracle Financial modules or similar ERP systems.
Solid experience with:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
Basic understanding of financial principles and accounting processes.
Experience supporting end-users in a functional/finance systems environment.
Experience with financial reporting or data analysis tools is beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide Level 1 & 2 support to users on Oracle Financial modules (GL, AP, AR).
Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve system-related queries and incidents.
Escalate complex functional or technical issues to senior team members where required.
Assist with configuration and maintenance of Oracle Financial applications.
Support system enhancements, upgrades, and patch testing activities.
Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and validation of new functionalities.
Assist users with financial reporting, data extraction, and reconciliation queries.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity across financial systems.
Maintain documentation, user guides, and process notes.
Collaborate with IT and Finance teams to support ongoing system improvements.
