JOB SUMMARY:
Oracle Infrastructure Specialist - Pretoria - 12 months fixed term contract

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities:

-Oracle Hardware Servers

-Oracle Storage planning and management

-Oracle Backups monitoring and administration for both the NLC Primary and DR sites

-Oracle Networking optimization.

-Oracle Firmware upgrades where required

-Oracle Disaster Recovery Administration and planning

-Diagnosing network and connectivity related faults

-Configuration and optimization of core Oracle network routers and switches

-Facilitate hardware fault logging and replacement with Oracle South Africa.

REQUIREMENTS

-Degree in Information management system / computer science OR Information Technology.

-5 -6 years working experience as an Oracle specialist, specializing on Oracle database appliances.
