Role Overview

We are seeking a highly driven and results-oriented Outbound Life Insurance Sales Consultant to join a leading insurance provider. This role focuses on telephonic sales of life insurance products to prospective clients, with a strong emphasis on achieving targets, maintaining compliance, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Sell life insurance products telephonically to prospective clients
• Consistently meet and exceed monthly sales targets
• Handle objections effectively and close sales
• Ensure adherence to quality assurance and compliance standards
• Maintain high levels of productivity and operational efficiency
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Stay updated on product offerings, regulatory changes, and industry trends
• Ensure compliance with FAIS Fit & Proper requirements
• Deliver a customer-centric approach aligned with Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) principles

Minimum Requirements Qualifications

• Grade 12 (Matric)

Experience

• Minimum 1–2 years insurance sales experience (non-negotiable)
• Must have sold one or more of the following:
  • Life Insurance
  • Funeral Cover
  • Medical Aid / Medical Insurance
  • Gap Cover
  • Disability Cover / Protection Plans
• Proven outbound sales experience in a call centre environment
• Must be currently employed or employed within the last 6 months in an insurance sales role
• Demonstrated track record of consistently achieving sales targets

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong understanding of insurance sales processes
• Knowledge of financial services legislation and FAIS requirements
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written in English)
• Proficiency in at least one additional South African language
• Strong objection handling and closing skills
• Computer literacy
• High attention to detail and compliance

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday: 08:00 – 18:00
