Employer Description Company manufactures metals Job Description Your duties will encompass: Lead and manage all security operations across Gauteng and Mpumalanga, ensuring the effective implementation of security policies, procedures and best practices. Develop and maintain comprehensive risk management strategies to protect company assets, personnel, property and information. Identify, investigate and implement measures to prevent theft, fraud, vandalism and other criminal activities. Conduct regular security audits, inspections and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend corrective actions. Manage and oversee security service providers, ensuring contractual compliance and optimal performance. Investigate all security-related incidents, gather evidence, compile detailed reports and recommend preventative measures. Ensure the effective operation, monitoring and maintenance of CCTV systems, access control systems and other security technologies. Drive continuous improvement through the evaluation and implementation of innovative security solutions and technologies. Liaise with SAPS, private security companies, regulatory authorities and other relevant stakeholders as required. Manage emergency response procedures and ensure prompt action during security incidents to minimise operational disruption. Monitor, control and optimise security-related expenditure while ensuring cost-effective security solutions are implemented. Ensure compliance with the Second-Hand Goods Act 6 of 2009 and all other relevant security and industry legislation. Maintain accurate security records, reports and documentation, providing regular updates and recommendations to management. Lead, develop and support security teams, fostering a culture of accountability, vigilance and continuous improvement. Ensure all security licenses, permits and compliance requirements remain current and are correctly displayed where required. Qualifications Tertiary qualification in Security Management or a related field. PSIRA Grade A registration (compulsory). Skills Minimum of 6 years' senior management experience within a security environment. Valid driver's licence and own reliable car. Experience within a manufacturing, logistics or industrial environment. Strong experience in risk identification, security audits, investigations and incident management. Proven experience with CCTV monitoring systems and security technologies. Strong report writing and investigation skills. Sound knowledge of the Second-Hand Goods Act 6 of 2009 and other relevant legislation. Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
